It is the intention of this Code of Conduct to promote fair play and respect for all participants within the Prince George Women’s Recreational Hockey League (PGWRHL). All players, coaches and officials registered with the PGWRHL are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
Therefore, all players, coaches and officials will…
-
Play by the rules of hockey and in the spirit of the game.
-
Control their negative/aggressive motions – unsportsmanlike behaviours can affect the enjoyment of the fame for everyone.
-
Respect their team-mates and opponents.
-
Do their best to be a true team player.
-
Remember that winning is part of the game – having fun, improving skills, fellowship and enjoying competition are also important.
-
Officials are there to do a valued role, and it is important to accept and respect their decisions.
